Brandy & Marc

¡Brandy La Flutiste (700ml \7000)
La Flutiste is made from 100%-KOSYU wine and distilled twice in a pot-still, the alambic charentais, which is made of copper. The splits that comes off the still is colorless and goes into new oak barrel. Through 7 year-maturing in French oak, La Flutiste is deep amber color smooth aroma with fresh grape flavor and overall finesse. This brandy is named La Fruteste after the river "THE FUEFUKI RIVER" which runs near our vineyard . (FUEFUKI means the flute player)

¡Marc de Kizan (360ml \1000)
Marc brandy is distillate of red wine marc (pomace). Without oak maturation, this brandy is clear and colourless. Fruity aroma on the nose and distinctive weight on the palate. Totally impressive spirits.

Distillation
The alambic charentais is a beautiful piece of apparatus, with its slightly mysterious looking, rounded, gleaming beaten copper metal set into brick housings.
(1) boiler; (2) condenser; (3) pre-heater

Brandy can lose approximately 3% per year of its volume through evaporation during barrel aging.
